fashionably late and fashionably straight: This is what bothers me the MOST about Chris Brown:

starkwords:

Chris, his fans, the Grammys, and the general public) act like Chris Brown has had to overcome some great struggle to get where he is, like he’s been fighting some awful tragedy in his life. They act like there is an undeserved stigma placed on him.

But he wasn’t sick, he wasn’t injured, he’s not recovering from a debilitating addiction, he wasn’t fighting some terrible internal demon.

He beat up his girlfriend.

He attacked and put a woman in the hospital.

And the GRAMMYS, the music industry, and Brown fans were the victims of that, apparently. They were ~deprived of Chris Brown. And Chris was a victim too, because people are “hating” on him, undeservedly.

No. That’s not the case and that’s not okay.
